Regardless of the work that Bettman has done bringing hockey to the US and enlarging the coffers of the owners, he is alienating the fans of the country who are still largely paying for and playing the game.  

We want another team.  We can afford it.  Bettman now owns hockey. Not us.  If he doesn’t show some reason and realize that he’s alienating us, we need to take affirmative action and spend our money elsewhere. 

Until Bettman shows that this is a Canadian sport he can take his product and peddle it elsewhere.  I won’t be attending or watching it.  There’s plenty of great junior hockey to watch in this country, and it’s affordable.
